Fulwood Hall is a well established, modern, consistently highly rated facility, which underwent refurbishments in 2019 to make it even more comfortable and welcoming. Private patients have their own rooms and amenities.

By Car

The hospital is found very conveniently near the M6 motorway on the circular B6241 in north east Preston.

Heading north on the M6 leave junction 31A travel due west along Longsands lane, go all the way around the mini roundabout so that you pass the Anderton Arms pub to your left (third exit) then follow the road and turn left to stay on Longsands Lane just after Bluebells Nursery

Continue straight until the next mini roundabout and turn right onto Midgery Lane. Fulwood Hall is second on the left. A large free car park is available with disabled parking in front of the building.

Heading south on M6 turn off and head onto the M55 west. After crossing over the M6 on the flyover keep to the left and leave the motorway heading to PRESTON and the A6. Turn left after the traffic lights as you come down the ramp from the motorway onto the A6 then stay on the left and turn left onto the B6241 ring road. Follow this road and take the third exit at the next

roundabout then continue straight over the next four roundabouts (you will pass Aldi after the third).

After the fourth roundabout, you will travel down and then up a hill and again down, round a left-hand bend and approach a pedestrian crossing with a 90-degree left turn just before the crossing.

Head up a small steep road and turn left at the top. Fulwood Hall is second left. If you miss the turn on the B6241 before the pedestrian crossing, go to the next roundabout, turn left up the hill to the Anderton Arms and follow the instruction above.

FYLDE COAST HOSPITAL, St Walburgas Road, Blackpool, FY3 8BP

The hospital has been refurbished over the last two years so that outpatient and patient rooms have all been upgraded. The hospital offers a broad range of services including anaesthetic services. You will be looked after by a friendly, warm and welcoming team.

Leaving the M55 at junction four, follow the signs for Stanley Park. Go past Victoria hospital on the right and straight over the next roundabout onto St Walburgas Road. Fylde Coast hospital is right at the next mini roundabout. Parking is free with disabled spaces nearest the main entrance.
